Children at Stainbeck
Our children range
from those whose grandparents grew up in this, their family church, to those who
have come unaccompanied by any family.
We try to help them to learn about the love of Jesus through varied activities - reading the Bible, storytelling, singing, acting in short plays and sketches, drawing, and many other forms of artwork.
We cater for babies and toddlers by providing a crèche during Sunday morning worship staffed on a rota basis. The children are made welcome in Church at the beginning of the Service by the provision of a play mat, small chairs and various toys at one side of the Church. We accept that these children may want to wander around church at this time.
Stainbeck Church
aims to provide a loving, safe and secure environment for children and young
people. It is a place where children learn of and experience the love of God
through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Jesus said,
"Suffer the little children and forbid them not to come unto me"
